Our London-based clients opening their doors for #OpenHouseLondon

Our varied clients work in some fascinating London landmarks: from the ornate, imposing elegance of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office or Portcullis House buildings in Westminster, to the incredible views from 1 Canada Square in Canary Wharf, or the newly opened Metropolitan Police HQ at New Scotland Yard.

Open House London is the world’s largest architecture festival, giving free public access to 800+ buildings, walks, talks and tours over the weekend of 21 and 22 September.

This weekend, several of our clients are opening their doors for free, so visitors can get to see areas never normally open to the public. Seeing the list is a reminder we get to see behind the scenes of some amazing organisations – and that’s just the ones in London.

From Love Lambeth:

This year’s Open House theme is ‘social’:  social infrastructure, social communities, social housing. Lambeth participates with great buildings, old and new. This year we recommend a tour at Cheviot Gardens: take a sneaky peek at modern retirement living. The residents, the Architect and the team from Notting Hill Genesis will provide tours of this stunning scheme throughout the afternoon. See inside one of the 84 apartments designed for later life, the lounges, restaurant and café, chat to residents and hear about the flexible on site care which is enabling people to live independently while also receiving care when they need it.
