Accessibility policy

We are committed to ensuring this website can be used effectively by all users, and have made our best efforts to ensure that the core content of sites using this service is accessible. Our aim is to:

  • deliver the same information and the same general functionality to all users regardless of the platform used to access them;
  • support multi-modal access (e.g. text equivalents of video/audio);
  • facilitate customisation (e.g. freedom to apply user stylesheets);

We use automated tools to help identify potential accessibility problems with the website, and follow good practice where it exists, for example in ensuring that alternative formats exist for images, that page templates are well-structured for navigation and that functionality does not depend on use of a mouse.

Please get in touch with us if you identify accessibility problems, or to give feedback on our accessibility support, via email to: [email protected]

Much of the internet remains, and particularly rich social media applications are, not fully accessible to all users. We will:

  • favour third party partners and tools which provide useful information and features, accessible to as many people as possible
  • ensure our own core content is as accessible as we can reasonably make it
  • add text alternatives to video or image content wherever we reasonably can
  • endeavour to support standards such as WAI-ARIA where it is feasible to do so
