Kate Rawlins

Associate Director

Kate prepares and delivers crisis simulation exercises and training courses.

She’s a former government press officer from Brisbane, with qualifications in journalism and criminology.

Her biggest motivator is knowing that our training allows people to do their job more confidently and effectively.

She works around the world, delivering simulations and training for clients as diverse as L’Oreal, Coca-Cola, Centrica, the Northern Ireland Executive and ExxonMobil.

Recent project highlights include:

  • Teeside Reform Prisons: helping the Executive Governor go live on Twitter and working with the organisation to support him on the new journey
  • UK Home Office counter-terror exercises: helping emergency services better prepare for protecting the public
  • Grenfell Fire Response: working with the Red Cross to provide residents and other relevant people with access to critical information

Kate is also a soprano singer in a West End choir, has a phobia of snakes (despite being an Aussie), and is easily distracted by all dogs.
